ICOR Robot Helps with Pipe Bombs Incident in New Jersey

The world can be a dangerous place—especially for bomb squads.

Just look to September 18, 2016, when a bag of pipe bombs was discovered near a train station in Elizabeth, New Jersey.
As authorities tried to disarm it, one of the bombs accidentally detonated. But there were no injuries. Not a single one.

It’s becoming increasingly clear that tactical robots can be of great benefit to First Responders who work to keep the world safe.

Here at ICOR, our team takes great pride in our robots having played a role in this particular incident.

Building robots for First Responders to combat terrorism drives us to do what we do—every single day.
